General notes
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. For detailed information on data protection, please refer to our complete Privacy Policy below.
Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. Their contact details can be found in the “Controller” section of this Privacy Policy.
How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us, for example via a contact form. Other data is collected automatically or with your consent by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, time of page access).
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to request, under certain circumstances, the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Third-party analytics and tools
We currently do not use any analytics or tracking tools. Your browsing behaviour is not statistically evaluated by us. If we use such tools in the future, we will inform you accordingly in this Privacy Policy and obtain your consent where required.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted with an external provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated via a website. Hosting takes place for the purpose of contract performance towards our potential and existing customers (Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online service by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
3. General notes and mandatory information
Controller
The party responsible for processing data on this website is:
SLR Solutions GmbH
Gersdorfstraße 52
12105 Berlin · Germany
Phone: +49 30 2089854-0
Email: hello@vjsual.com
The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this Privacy Policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for erasure or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be erased unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, erasure takes place after these reasons cease to apply.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to yourself or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.
Right of complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of breaches of GDPR, those affected have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our website uses so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored on your end device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.
Cookies which are necessary to enable the electronic communications process, to provide certain functions you have requested, or to optimise the website (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is indicated. Where consent has been requested, the processing is exclusively based on this consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.
Consent management
Our website uses an in-house consent management system to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies in your browser or to the use of certain technologies and to document this in a privacy-compliant manner. Your given consent (or its withdrawal) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage under the key vjsual_cookies). It is not transmitted to any external service.
Server log files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources. Collection takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of the website.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the form, including the contact details you provided, will be stored by us in order to process your inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Data collected: name (required), email address (required), topic (required), message content (required), and optionally company and phone number. Required fields are marked as such.
Processing: the form is processed via a PHP script on our own webhosting server (see “Hosting” above). The entries are then dispatched via the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street #4912, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) exclusively to our address hello@vjsual.com. No storage in a database takes place; the data remains exclusively in our email mailbox.
Data processing by Resend: Resend handles only the technical delivery of the notification to our own address. Transmission is TLS-encrypted. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable mail delivery) plus a data processing agreement with Resend (see resend.com/legal/dpa). The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Resend stores message content transiently until delivery; logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Spam protection: to fend off automated submissions we use a hidden honeypot field and a short-term rate-limit detection. An anonymous hash of your IP address is stored in the server cache for a maximum of one hour to detect repeated submissions from the same source. This hash does not allow identification of a person and is automatically deleted after expiry. No cookies are set, no captcha third party is integrated and no tracking is carried out.
Processing of this data takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR insofar as your request relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your express consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR), which you grant before sending the form by ticking the consent checkbox, and additionally on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries directed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after completed processing of your inquiry). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected. You can request deletion at any time informally by email to hello@vjsual.com.
Inquiry by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your inquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
5. Plugins and tools
Fonts (local hosting)
This site uses locally hosted fonts to ensure uniform typography. The font files are served exclusively from our own servers. No connection to external provider servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established. No personal data (e.g. your IP address) is transferred to third parties to load fonts.
Appointment booking via Cal.eu
For online appointment booking we use Cal.eu (Cal.com, Inc., hosted in the EU). The booking widget is only loaded after explicit consent via the cookie banner. The processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
6. Own services
Handling of applicant data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, post or via an online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data takes place in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated as strictly confidential.
Storage duration of applicant data: in the case of a successful application, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship. If we cannot offer you an employment relationship or you reject a job offer, your application documents will be automatically deleted no later than six months after notification of the rejection decision, unless a longer storage period is required for legal reasons (e.g. burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act).
